Fishing Rules

Rules when fishing at Pillaton Pools

  • No person is permitted to fish without a VALID MEMBERSHIP or DAY TICKET
  • Day tickets are for our overnight campers only
  • No night fishing – fishing between dawn and dusk only
  • CARP MATS must be used at all times
  • No keep nets
  • Barbless hooks must be used at all times
  • No radios or music by pool side
  • No parking by pools or on the grass, park in designated parking areas only
  • No dogs around the fishing pools
  • No braid line to be used
  • No litter or line to be left around or on the pegs
  • Children 16 and under MUST be accompanied by an adult
  • NO HEMP, PEANUTS, or FLOATING BAITS to be used
  • Every individual fishing must have their own landing net; sharing is not permitted
  • NO STALKING FISH – please pick a peg and stick to it
  • Pool 1 will be open at all times. All other pools will be open unless there is an event on site for which notice will be given
  • Strictly no bite alarms to be used, do not leave your peg unattended
  • Pegs cannot be reserved at any time
  • All equipment must be taken away at the end of each day
  • Pillaton Hall Farm do not take any responsibility for any loss, damage or injury to any persons or equipment whilst using our pools
  • Any person found to be breaking any of the rules will be asked to stop fishing immediately and may be asked to leave the site
